Fraud Detection and Control

 

Our years of experience in the Internet payment processing and in the check guarantee industry make us experts in fraud prevention and detection.  Upon receipt of a payment request, the information can be bounced against the nation’s most comprehensive negative, account closed and positive databases as well as your own negative files. If any negative information is discovered, the item can be flagged and put into a queue for further review.  Except in the case of fraud or an OFAC violation, the client firm is given the opportunity to make a decision regarding whether to accept or reject a transaction.  This includes the ability to research and fix invalid ACH instructions that would result in an administrative return.  An e-mail can be generated to the customer indicating that the ACH will not be accepted along with the reason for failure/rejection.   We will also provide a report of database hits and fraud detection to help you calculate ROI from savings on transactions not processed.

XperTran® can be integrated to the client firm’s back office system.  XperTran® can be set up for online or batch interfaces with complete or summary posting.
