The founder of Horizontech, Inc. is an executive with 30 years experience in
outsourcing in the service industry primarily focused on the complexities of
online financial transaction processing. That experience has created a
customer-driven focus and a belief that the data processing service HTI
provides MUST be a customized tailored answer to the paper, clerical or payment
problem facing the client.
Our
organization consists of U.S. scanning locations in Sacramento, CA and Roxboro,
NC. However, we will scan on our customer premises or open a location near
your offices if proximity is important. Our scanning locations will handle
inbound mailroom, document preparation, filing and retrieval. We also perform
sales, software design and testing, quality control and customer service in our
U.S. operations. Off-shore we have our own dedicated facilities in Coimbatore
and in Jaipur, and in Haiko, China. These operations provide backup to each
other, are all networked on the same XperTran software as our U.S. locations so
the data processing integrity and accuracy is tightly controlled while our
customers are able to achieve important cost savings.

Inc. provides scanning or OCR solutions utilizing the latest in document
scanning technology. We are
experts at indexing and data entry. Since our expertise is founded in
technology, we perform all data entry from images rather than paper,
enhancing the quality and speeding the turnaround on the work. The
software expertise allows us to control the data capture to achieve the
accuracy you need…from key entry to sight verify to double
keying. More importantly, this software
has thousands of customizable edits that allow us to select for quality
control review the transactions that have a potential for being
incorrect. We find the errors
rather than returning them to you! Our accuracy rates average over 99.5% for all of our customer! The
software expertise we use for our operations can be applied to solving
your internal needs. Software development is primarily Internet based but
we also can build other platform solutions. The combination of skills,
clerical and data processing means that we can handle your paper surveys
while creating an electronic web-based one to more efficiently capture
the information. We will blend the results from the two sources into a
single output file transferred to you on any media you need: FTP, DLT
tape, CD, etc.
This
technology and transaction processing expertise has lead to the creation
of XperTran®, an Internet-based payment processing system. This system
will capture and process ACH (Automated Clearing House – from the
customer checking account) or Credit Card transactions. We can capture
checks from remote branches for image capture and automated electronic
check conversion, we can be a link point for your customer to move from
your web-site to ours to initiate payments, the customer can come into
our site directly, OR you can have your own back-office staff handling
call center activity or mailroom payment requests access a
“production” version of the system to set up and process
payments. Payments can be one-time or recurring, from the customers
checking account to you for payments or from you to them for
disbursements. ACH banking can be through our facility or through your
own accounts set up to clear the payment. Fraud detection is automated
for external checks where risk exists. Flexibility, efficiency, accuracy,
and customized…..we automatically brand all implementations to look
like your system/web-site. XperTran® is simply Horizontech, Inc. taking
its transaction processing and data processing expertise and applying it
to a common business need.
